Help Us Build CIAC

We’re building more than a website—we’re building the Cape & Islands Accessibility Collaborative. We’re committed to making this site as accessible as the communities we’re working to create. Professional accessibility design and development is estimated at $2,500–$6,000. We’re seeking volunteers, donated professional services, and financial support to help complete this work. If you believe in a more accessible Cape & Islands, we’d love your help.

The repeating symbols represent the towns and communities of the Cape & Islands working together to improve accessibility for people of all abilities through regional collaboration.

Building a More Accessible Cape & Islands.

Accessibility improves when communities work together.

The Cape & Islands Accessibility Collaborative helps municipalities, people with disabilities, and community partners work together to remove barriers and move accessibility forward.

Why Regional Collaboration Matters

Accessibility improves when communities share knowledge and successful practices instead of working in isolation. By leveraging lived experience and regional funding, we create a more inclusive future for everyone.

How We Work

Communities improve when they share knowledge, resources, and successful practices.

Listen

We hear directly from residents and people with disabilities to understand their daily experiences.

Verify

We identify specific barriers to ensure our work is focused on the most critical needs.

Collaborate

We work with towns to find practical solutions and secure funding for improvements.

Improve

We support communities as they implement changes for a more inclusive future.
